About
SCP
From our
President...
Our
2009 Season promises to be a provocative one. Award-winning plays like
the The Goat, or Who is Sylva
and Hearts are being flanked
by a couple of "lighter fare" shows. The
Goat is a real departure for SCP. This study of a modern-day
family dynamic approaches life from an unconventional vantage point and
hits hard with edgy and sometimes shocking dialogue. Unnecessary
Farce brings laughs and comedic timing to the forefront.
Hearts, presents a funny, sad and poignant
story of a WWII vet and his life after the war. We finish with Encore, our evening of
one-acts by first-time directors is sure to keep you laughing.
We encourage you to
join us either by auditioning for a show, helping us backstage, or
sitting in the audience. We're sure you'll find the experience rewarding
and enjoyable.
Also, please consider being a member of SCP. We will keep you in the
loop with inside information. There are many other benefits as well,
plus it helps us with our day to day
expenses as well as production costs. Info
Thanks for visiting our
site, come back often for more information on shows and events. And by
all means, "Come play with us!"
