Being a part of Seneca Community Players

is entertaining, educational, exciting, but mostly fun. We encourage participation at all skill levels and in all aspects of theatre.

If you enjoy acting, or if you have never acted and would like to try, SCP is the place for you. We have open auditions for all of our shows and always welcome new actors, even if you are new to theater!

If you prefer behind the scenes work, we certainly have a home for you. Stage crew, sound, lights, set construction and design, set painting, hair, make-up, and costumes are fascinating parts of theatre production. We also need assistance with program design, ushers, mailings, photography, membership and other "back stage" tasks. No experience necessary, we will train with our mentoring programming.

If you are a musician, come aboard! We are always looking for musicians to play in the pit orchestras for our musicals.

Directors, musical directors, conductors, choreographers and technical directors are encouraged to approach our group for opportunities. We even have a "First-Time Director’s Program". Click Here for a proposal form.

Of course, if the production process is not your interest, we obviously welcome you as part of our audience. "The show must go on... but it is much more fun with an audience!"

If you are looking for a sense of belonging to a quality organization we encourage your participation and would gladly welcome you as part of SCP with a membership.  Business Memberships are also available with or without advertising opportunities.
