Seneca Community Players is accepting applications for Young Players Theatre Workshop Series

SCP’s Young Players Theatre Workshop series is designed to familiarize theater enthusiasts, ages 11 – 18, with the basics in theater including stage craft, dance, vocal music, make-up, costumes, and more!  The series will take place approximately once a week during July of 2011 and will culminate in performance opportunities in SCP’s summer musical production of Bye Bye, Birdie.  Participants in the workshops will be required to attend rehearsals for Bye Bye, Birdie as needed, and will be given preferential consideration as solos and additional parts are given out during the rehearsal process.   Final performances at the Delavan Theatre, NYCC campus, August  11, 12, 13, 14, 2011  

A $25 registration fee covering cost of  make-up kit, t-shirt, certificate of completion & other workshop materials will be required. Scholarships will be available to those who qualify.

Applications may be downloaded at the bottom of this page or may be picked up at WomanMade Products, Seneca Falls.  Application deadline is June 1, 2011.
